Aunt Mary Solitaire
This game closely resembles Yukon Solitaire but introduces several subtle variations that may necessitate adjustments to your approach. At the beginning of each game, six tableau piles are dealt. The first pile contains six face-up cards, the second pile five face-up cards, continuing in this pattern until the last pile has just one face-up card. The remaining cards form the stock pile. The primary goal is to move all cards into four foundation piles, each built up from Ace to King in suit order. The tableau is constructed downward in alternating colors, allowing you to move sequences of cards to other tableau piles as long as the sequence maintains the proper alternating color and descending rank order. Only Kings can be placed into empty tableau spaces. Additionally, you can turn over one card from the stock and place it onto a tableau pile, respecting the same placement rules. Cards can also be moved to the foundation piles whenever the rules are satisfied. A key difference from classic Yukon is that when the stock runs out, it cannot be recycled or redealt—players only get one pass through the stock. Success depends on strategic planning and a bit of luck, aiming to maximize the number of cards transferred to the foundation piles. The more cards you successfully move there, the higher your score. This challenging solitaire game demands careful analysis and foresight, making it a compelling variation on traditional Yukon Solitaire.
